How to inquire into the urban situations defining the contemporary condition of large agglomerations, with a case study in Bogotá and its metropolitan area, proposing strategies and models for physical intervention in different urban situations and contexts?

This project-laboratory is based on a continuous feedback process between education and research, using the methodology of ‘learning by doing.’

It presents an approach to the contemporary condition of artificially implemented urban agglomeration, reflecting a process of adaptation and modification of the built environment, areas often understudied beyond the logics of precariousness or economic, productive, and functional rationality.

Under a perspective of territory modernization, studies and proposals should be developed to contribute to reflecting on the possible futures of the city characterized by their demographics, sociocultural phenomena, and the extreme in geographical extension.
