Studio Apartment: Earthly Refuge

For this project, I designed a 36-square-meter apartment in Bogotá under the concept of «Earthly Refuge.» My goal was to create a space that transcended mere functionality, transforming it into a personal sanctuary where the inhabitant could reconnect with nature and themselves, finding peace and serenity amidst the urban rhythm.

To achieve this, every design decision was meticulously considered: from the organization of intelligent divisions that maximized space and fluidity, to a color palette inspired by organic tones evoking calm. The selection of natural materials and decorative accessories was key to enhancing the connection with the outdoors, while lighting was designed to elevate the welcoming atmosphere and boost the sense of well-being. The result was a home that not only satisfied practical needs but also nourished the spirit of its occupants.
